Love Art Fair is the Canadian version of the Affordable Art Fair which sets up in twelve cities around the world in order to bring further awareness and access to affordable, contemporary art. If you are an art enthusiast or have an inkling of interest in modern art, or maybe you just want to see some of this stuff up close and personal (in an environment that claims to be non-judgy) this might be the event for you!
This year it will be held at the the Exhibition Place in the Direct Energy Centre, 100 Princess Boulevard near Lakeshore Blvd and Strachan Ave. It will feature hundreds of new artists and their artworks, several hands-on workshops and talks. It is meant to be a friendly atmosphere that encompasses original artist made prints, sculptures, paintings and photographs that you might be interested in buying that range from $100-$10,000 with more than half under $5000.
